En plein air: Snape Maltings

Even though Saturday was gloomy, I headed out to paint at Snape Maltings. I am so glad I did, it was a great exercise in all weather painting. It was quite cold and miserable but the subtle greyed tones in the sky and muted variations in the marshland was fantastic to paint.
Work in progress, the underpainting
The finished piece. Not bad for painting in the drizzling rain!

  1. Hi!

I was wondering if you’d tell me your set up name of the box and tripod-if you’re happy with it. I tried to buy one and had to send it back because it wasn’t well made. I would very ,uhh appreciate it!! Claudia
